CT's in DIRNAVSECGRULANT Direct Support billets were often invited to leave shore and ride along with ships crew. The crew often didn't know why we were aboard or where the ship would take us. These weeks or months at sea were often made pleasant by the welcoming arms of the ships crew who otherwise would be in port with their families. The USS Kretchmer, a "carribean cruise". |
