| From what I'm told, some of the CTO Sea Dogs have been lusting after a copy. While I'm not ready to part with mine, Its supple enough (from cramming for advancement exams) to lay flat in the scanner without taking it apart. This copy is pre STREAMLINER /NEWSDEALER, pre-TACINTEL so it has everything you remember about MOD-28 TTY (without the noise). It's even pre-TEXAS... ..OEBPGG.. ..Has some neat stuff on radio wave propigation and RTTY...a fun read for my generation of O brancher and perhaps a curiosity for everyone else. |

Ken,
On a separate note, my wife just got a call from Brett Bascom this evening, CTOCS Roger Bascom's (RET) wife, her dear friend. Roger was wounded in the attack on the mess hall at the base in Mosoul, Iraq. He is in intensive care there after surgery. Roger is over there as a contractor. Please keep Roger in your thoughts and prayers. I'll pass this along to the CTO Sea Dogs folks too.
