Angle of inclination describes orbital data of a satellite. Inclined orbit is a plane not idential to the equatorial plane. Angle of inclination is angle between the equatorial plane and the orbital plane. Angle of inclination determines the geographic limits of the projection of the path of the satellite over the earth's surface. Special types of inclined orbits include equatorial orbit that coincides with the earth's equatorial plane. Polar orbit is at a 90 degree angle of inclination.
