AN/TSC-54 smallest of Phase I IDSCS earth terminals. highly transportable, antenna klystron and preamplifer mounted on trailer, terminal in equipment shelter. Trailer mounted diesel generator. terminal weighs 19,500 pounds transported by C-133E aircraft, H-37 helicopter or towed by trucks over unimproved terrain by attaching "goat" mobilizers provided with the terminal for equipment shelter. Crew of six set up or dismantle AN/TSC-54 in less than two hours. rigid radome for semipermanennt installations. AN/SSC-6 shipboard satellite communications earth terminal. tracks satellite for long range high speed data, voice and teletype communications signals transmitting 7.9 GHZ to 8.4 ghz RECEIVED at 7.25 ghz to 7.75 Ghz. AN/SSC-6 is shipboard installation as interim SHF cabability until replaced by AN/WSC-2 terminals. antenna group mounted on ship weather deck.
