A note of apology.
Without explanation, I stopped supporting this website some time ago. During that time many of you have sent information and photographs or asked questions. These were collected in the "inbox" without action.
I apologize for this inaction and I am sorry I was not able to at least acknowledge receipt. I will just say that life got somewhat complicated and maintaining NavyCT.com (and my other websites) was not a priority.
I hope to resume postings very soon beginning with the inbox collection.

This book reflects on the tragic events of December 3, 1979, when a terrorist group attacked a bus of unarmed navy sailors in Sabana Seca, Puerto Rico, killing two men and wounding seventeen others. The book examines the events leading up to the attack, the aftermath and the fall-out and honors those men and women who made the sacrifice for our country.

Encouraged by a Vietnamese-American co-worker, Stacy Hansen, a fire fighter from Santa Cruz Californina recently visted Vietnam. While there unexpected events led her to recover hundreds of dog tags lost by U.S. Servicemen over 30 years ago. Please visit her website VietnamDogTags.com . Perhaps you can help her return these dog tags to their owners or their families. |
